Madrid, May 17, 2020.
As every year, it is an important date for our organization where one more anniversary of our Foundation and a vindictive day for the LGBTIQ + community coincide, marked by a constant fight for our rights with nuances in different countries and which in ours is accentuated by a dictatorship that It has marginalized for more than 60 years and has violated ours.
Please serve this day to pay tribute to all the initiators of this struggle within Cuba who have been an example on this path and from whom we have all learned.
To thank the members of this community who are in the gap facing the battle for the health of all in the face of this pandemic that has occurred in all corners of the world and that many are not recognized in their work.
To the members of our Foundation and friends who during these years have been supporting our work, watching over and denouncing the abuses against the LGBTI community, regardless of ideology, congratulations and encourage them to continue the fight.
We reaffirm our fight and commitment with our social group and with all those who suffer discrimination and see their rights and limited liberties, that this day be a demand for the inclusion of diversity and the vindication of rights.
We join the campaign so that the financing of projects that do not represent us like Cenesex are curtailed and the elimination of visas for officials or allies of this institution is a reality.
We will continue at your side for your rights.
